The word on the street is that asian advertising agencies aren't known for actually running highly creative ads in TV and print. They're merely entered in to award shows. Creative ads that are actually approved by clients are the most impressive work.

I agree, the most amazing ads are the ones clients actually approve. Considering the controversy surround awards shows these days with work that only ran once in some obscure place and work that was outright never approved or run, the straight shooters are the ones who get my respect. We can all come up with the ideas. Selling them to the clients...now that's another story.
