This anti-car position is biting off more than it can chew. For all the reasons we already have to not drive a car, this adds nothing. The stuff looks polished, but it could be an ad for bicycling or walking or anything besides driving a car.
Electric scooters are fun as hell to ride, easy to park, and I just don't get taken to a place where I want to purchase anything.
When reviewing it, I'd credit the Art Director for polished-looking work, and let it slide based on what the copywriter has in the rest of his book.
I agree. I think this could be taken to a much more fun place than "kill cars."
And I don't think you're taking Go-Ped to a different place. I get any kind of non-car transportation...and probably wouldn't remember Go-Ped from that ad.
But, the AD did a nice job.
I wish I had this blog thing when I was in Texas Creative!
Anyhow, I have to agree with both of the previous comments. The fact that we're all giving points to the AD for the nice photoshop work shows that the concept is not shining through enough. Yes, "killing cars" is an idea, but I feel like the product itself is getting lost in this direction. What benefit is being communicated about Go-Ped? Yeah, we're killing the monster beast called the automobile, but how's that going to make me want a Go-Ped?
Try focusing more on the product itself, because right now it's more like just a sidenote than the real star of the ad.
p.s. I'm an AD.
I think the above comments pretty much sum up my first impressions. It'll turn my head for sure, but it doesn't really take me much further than that since the concept isn't really married to the product. "kill cars" just seems a little too generic. I'd rather know why I should choose Go-Ped over other scooters. Keep it up though!

Agree. Good start, but idea can go further. The product itself is getting lost in the creative. One of those pieces that you remember, but you are not sure what it was for. Plus, I don't think a scooter really will replace a car in anyone's life. But maybe it will replace me getting in my car to go a couple blocks down the street.
I still prefer a mini harley chopper scooter. It's the coolest in town.
